- Verified engine cranked normally and had good compression (~180 psi). Checked live data — no RPM signal during crank. Confirmed low-pressure fuel pump only primed for ~3 seconds then shut off. Reviewed wiring diagram and found crank sensor power supplied through Sensor 2 fuse. Tested Sensor 2 fuse in under-hood fuse box — fuse blown. Installed new fuse, rechecked live data — RPM signal present, fuel pump ran continuously during crank, engine started and ran normally. Advise customer that this vehicle has been under maintained and does have sludge build up, as well as no oil on the dipstick.
- Check the condition of the following components: brakes, drive belts, battery cables, starter operation, intake system, vacuum hoses, air filter, fuel system, ignition system, cooling system, hoses and fan Check level and condition of the following fluids: coolant, engine oil, transmission, power steering, brake and waster Drain engine oil. Remove engine oil filter. Install new engine oil drain plug gasket if applicable and torque engine oil drain plug to factory specification. Install new engine oil filter and torque to factory specification.
- Adjust tire pressure to factory specification
- Reset service reminder if needed.
- AIR COND HOSE – Remove & Replace – Discharge Hose,Compressor to Discharge Pipe – [DOES NOT include Air Conditioning System recover, evacuate and/or recharge.]
- Evacuate & Recharge the A/C system. Fill A/C system to factory specifications.
