2013 Hyundai Sonata
Mileage197,350Service Date8/11/2025Services Performed- Verified engine cranked normally and had good compression (~180 psi). Checked live data — no RPM signal during crank. Confirmed low-pressure fuel pump only primed for ~3 seconds then shut off. Reviewed wiring diagram and found crank sensor power supplied through Sensor 2 fuse. Tested Sensor 2 fuse in under-hood fuse box — fuse blown. Installed new fuse, rechecked live data — RPM signal present, fuel pump ran continuously during crank, engine started and ran normally. Advise customer that this vehicle has been under maintained and does have sludge build up, as well as no oil on the dipstick.

2014 BMW 428i
Mileage109,388Service Date8/1/2025Services Performed- TRANSMISSION OIL PAN GASKET &/OR FILTER – Remove & Replace
- Confirmed the cold-start stall comes from a torn PCV diaphragm in the valve cover, which is also leaking oil, letting un-metered air into cylinders 1-2. Crankcase vacuum read 0 in-Hg (spec –11) and fuel trims spiked +19 % when the breather was blocked, proving the leak. Valve-cover/PCV assembly is faulty and must be replaced to stop the oil leak, restore proper mixture, and eliminate the stall.
